The Eiffel Tower has been photographed from plentiful angles since its creation from 1887 – 1889. For my first trip to the grand structure, I did truly take numerous photos at various perspectives. One of which I realized was a bit distinctive. At the time, in 2001, the space below the tower wasn’t as congested as it is today. One could simply lie down on the ground and gaze up the base of the tower to see an exceptional view. Which is precisely what I proceeded to do, much to the mortification of my friends insisting I get up off the ground, yet unusual positions are common to photographers.
