The photo was taken with a homemade pinhole camera: I used a coffee can and light-sensitive photo paper. After developing the photo paper, the resulting negative image was scanned, inverted, printed. And then the printed photo was hand-colored. Self-portrait. I was born by the White Sea coast. But I live thousands of kilometers away from it. I am wearing a folk shirt that my father gave me as a keepsake. I used the red color to emphasize the importance of this thing for me. And also, red is one of the main colors in the palette of paintings of the peoples of the North.
